HIVETECKS®is consists withhexagonal shape of honeycomb core and two sheets of metal surfaces. Aluminum is commonly chosen as a surface as well as core materials. Besides stainless steel, galvanized iron and other non-ferrous material would be second choice for surface material. The core cell size and various surfaces are made by customer's requirement.
The structural honeycomb core provides strength and consistent rigidity at a very low density; when bonded to similarly lightweight facings, every honeycomb cell wall acts like the web of an I-Beam, forming an extremely strong, stiffness yet lightweight composite panel.
Applications of Honeycomb
If you wantto know how to build lightweight marine ships, trains, building interior exterior claddings and ceilings, here areexamples for aircraft, cruise ships, high-speed trains, vehicles, wind power turbines and building materials using Hivetecks honeycomb.
